New information relating to Anthony Mackay's one week show is now out:-
An exciting and intriguing exhibition of Anthony Mackay's recent paintings will be on show at the Eagle Gallery in Bedford from 6th April 2019 for a week. Mainly focussed on landscape subjects, there will be an interesting juxtaposition of natural representation and semi-abstraction, with the use of vivid colour and original exploration of physical forms and structure.
Well-known for his ink drawings in a series of books on the landscapes and buildings of the counties around us, his paintings, by contrast, expose the more emotional and interpretive aspects of our surroundings in a glowing series of pictures.
The exhibition will be open everyday including Sundays from 10am until 5.30pm.
