In this one-week show Eagle Gallery member Annabel Ossel’s reveals her abstract journey so far, with paintings and collages that draw the viewer with their bold colours and shapes. Playful elements are often incorporated into her works. Annabel creates her collages from cut or torn pieces of paper painted with leftover acrylic paint. The collages in turn can inform new paintings.
Annabel has been a member of the Eagle Gallery for seven years. She exhibits in their regular group shows, as well as smaller ones, such as the recent printmaking and abstraction exhibitions and last year’s Open Studios. Annabel completed a Foundation art course in London before becoming a picture researcher for publishers and other media. She later attained a BA Hons in art history.
