Following on from our donation to the Bedford Foodbank from sales of christmas tree decorations, we were pleased to receive the following letter...

Eagle Gallery Donation to Bedford Foodbank
 
We would like to thank you and the members of Eagle Gallery Artists for your kind donation of £153.00 to Bedford Foodbank.  What an interesting way of raising money and enabling the public who bought the decorations to help others in the community who are facing very tough times.
 
You might be interested to know that during 2015 the foodbank was able to distribute 61,091kg of food to individuals and families in the local area.  The total number of people helped last year was 5901 of whom 2095 were children.
 
Sadly we expect that we will be needed for the foreseeable future and without donations such as yours we would not be able to continue.
 
Please convey our thanks to everyone who helped with this project – and accept our best wishes to you all for a successful year ahead.

Eagle artist Sarah F Janavicius presents a Solo Exhibition at Chichele College English Heritage, Higham Ferrers, NN10 8DZ.

The exhibition will be on the 25/26/27/& 28 March (coinciding with the Easter weekend), from 10am to 5.30pm inclusive.
