Sally Pennycate is a Northamptonshire artist with links to the Norfolk coastline and Broadlands. Her work is inspired by and often incorporating elements of the landscape. Sally distills the natural world into reflective, meditative pieces that seem haunting and immersive. Other works are highly textural and include elements of Nature embedded within to immortalise the beauty of the landscape and to remind us of what we have to lose by destroying it. Her fresh approach is unique and sculptural creating highly textural pieces on canvas, board and slate often using recycled and natural materials.
