Brian Fish

Born and educated in London I came to Bedfordshire in 1969 where I ran my own business until I took early retirement in 1995. It was then that I decided that I should give some thought to how I should occupy my time.

I have always enjoyed drawing so I decided to try my hand at art. I attended various art classes and to this point my most influential teachers have been Eric Seeley and Mike Croker. I also joined Bedford Art Society in 2002

Drawing and watercolour led on to oil painting which I feel allows me express myself more fully, it also allows me to cover up my many mistakes.

My main subject has always been landscapes but lately I have ventured into portraits, abstract and a small amount of mixed media.
