I have been interested in Art for a number of years but have only recently started to paint having had no previous training. I have a condition called Huntington’s disease, which severely limits my abilities but I find that painting provides excellent therapy. My work is of an abstract nature using acrylics, which I find is the best medium for me to use.

I have sold some of my work abroad with a number of pieces in Austria and Belgium. One of my goals is have my own exhibition and/or include my work in larger exhibitions. “Geraniums” is also available as a greetings card and I hope to have more of my work as greetings card in the future.

The progress of Huntington’s Disease has meant that Linda now has difficulties with holding and coordinating the movements with a paint brush. However in this series of Mood art she has used an Iphone apps to produce images using her finger, dragging it across the screen, her body heat and finger pressure generates the picture.
This allows Linda to move forward and now produces digital art in her own style.
