As a result of our continued success, we are expanding our
membership and are inviting local artists to join this unique
venture. To be a member you need to:
As a member you
will be able to exhibit work in the Eagle Gallery – ten
shows each year in a professional exhibition space – and
show 30 images on this website.
We are particularly
interested in receiving applications from 3D artists and suitable
work can be exhibited in the garden as well as the gallery.

The Eagle Gallery Artists - who are
we?
The Eagle Gallery is run by a non-profit making cooperative of 40
like-minded artists. The idea for the cooperative came about when
Mr Peter Budek, of the Eagle Bookshop, 103 Castle Road bought the
premises and identified a need for such an arts venue in Bedford.
The gallery is dedicated to exhibiting and selling original artwork
by Bedfordshire artists at reasonable prices.
What do we do?
The Eagle Gallery Artists produce work in a wide variety of mediums,
including 2D and 3D work, sculptures, pottery, jewellery, stained
glass, collage and photography. The gallery intends to be dynamic
– displays will be changed on a monthly basis and there will
be themed exhibitions throughout the year.
The gallery will provide space for work from
all members of the cooperative. In addition to the hanging space,
there is a garden to the rear. This will be used for outdoor workshops
during the summer months and also as an entertaining space for preview
evenings.

The Eagle Gallery is based at 101, Castle Road, Bedford MK40 3QP,

not visit the gallery to see works on display? Gallery opening times
are from 10:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday. We look forward to
