Two Eagle Gallery Artists In The 2010 RA Exhibition

Two members of Bedford’s Eagle Gallery, in Castle Road, have had paintings accepted for this year’s Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Gillian Flack and Eric Seeley succeeded, despite 11,000 entries from the UK and abroad, with only 1200 works selected and shown.

This annual exhibition is the world’s largest open contemporary art exhibition and is now in its 242nd year.

This year’s show has the theme ‘Raw’ and as well as Gillian’s and Eric’s work, the exhibition also features work by Antoni Tapies, Ed Ruscha, Gillian Ayres, Tracey Emin, Barry Flanagan and Grayson Perry.
